Treasures of the CSU Libraries presentation

Event: Presentation on the Treasures of the CSU Libraries

When: Thursday, April 14, 5:30-7 p.m.

Where: CSU's Morgan Library, Room 203

Don white gloves and join us for an opportunity to view and touch some of the rare treasures owned by the CSU Libraries during a talk and tour of the Special Collections Department.

A 500-year-old book, hidden paintings, a book printed and sold by Benjamin Franklin, and a 1706 edition of one of Isaac Newton's works are just a few of the items that will be on display.

Presenters will be Diana Wess, of the Archives/Special Collections Department, and Dr. LeMoyne Anderson, past director of the University Libraries.

The event, free and open to the public, will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Room 203, Morgan Library. Attendance will be limited to 30. Please RSVP to Becky Reeve at 491-1833.

The Friends of CSU Libraries is comprised of campus and community members who support the Libraries through participation in fundraising and outreach activities.

For more information about the Friends of CSU Libraries or about the presentation, contact Susan Hyatt, CSU Libraries Director of Development, at 491-6823.
